Info Grid is a smooth grid accordion. Accordions are a user interface where you click on a title (in a vertical stack of titles) and a panel of content reveals itself below. Typically, all other open panels close when the new one opens. They are a clever and engaging mechanism for packing a lot of information into a small space. Like all of our extensions, we give you a lot of customization options. Colors and sizes can be adjusted via the module parameters. SEE THEM HERE

One way to look at an accordion is like a collapsed single column of a table. Info Grid uses jQuery to expand and collapse the columns not only vertically, but also horizontally! This opens up a lot of possibilities. You can present a lot of information in a compact way. You can draw your information from K2 or from core Joomla content. Tip for working with K2

The image used from K2 is taken from the category image. K2 resizes images upon upload. Make sure you have your category images set as the same size you wish to use in Info Grid. You can find this setting in the global settings for K2. For example, if your image is set to 250 x 125 in Info Grid, it will look pixelated until you change the K2 settings to match. By default, the K2 category images are 100 x 100. If you are reading this and your images are already pixelated, you should delete your image from K2 and reupload, so it can create your new thumbnail at the desired size.
